4) AI Features and User Content Processing
Megoe includes AI-assisted storytelling features. When you choose to use AI features, you may provide text prompts and (if enabled) images ("User Content").
- You control uploads: AI features work only when you choose to provide content for generation.
- Processed on our own servers: uploaded text/images are processed on Megoe Team-controlled servers to generate the requested output.
- No third-party AI processing: we do not send your uploaded text/images to third-party AI model providers for processing.
- No training/marketing use: your uploaded text/images are not used for advertising/marketing and are not used to train models.
- Deletion after processing: uploaded text/images are deleted immediately after generation (typically within minutes), subject to limited temporary retention needed for security, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.
- Local storage by default: generated content may be stored locally on your device by default, depending on settings and device behavior.
5) Photos, Faces, and Biometric Information
- We do not perform facial recognition and do not collect biometric identifiers for identification.
- Images are used only to provide the one-time generation you request and are deleted immediately from our servers after processing.
- Images are not used for training or marketing.
6) How We Share Information
We disclose information only as necessary and under the following circumstances:
- With your consent or at your direction
- With service providers (processors) under contractual obligations and limited to what is necessary
- For legal reasons (compliance with laws, regulations, and valid requests)
- To protect rights, safety, and security (investigations, fraud prevention, misuse)
We may transfer information across borders and use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) where required.
7) Data Security
- Encryption in transit and, where appropriate, at rest
- Access controls and least-privilege practices

8) Data Retention
- Account information: while your account is active
- After account deletion: deleted or anonymized within 30 days (subject to limited exceptions for legal/security)
